Artist's Description
Just north of Sedona, Arizona Oak Creek winds through a dramatic canyon consisting of soaring red rocks. West Fork Trail is an extremely popular trail in the summer. The view in this painting is near the start of the trail. In the heyday of Hollywood there was a guest ranch here. Clark Gable was one of the guests. Many classic westerns were also filmed in the area.
About Margaret Crusoe
I started my career with a Bachelor's Degree in in Art Education. However, l later earned my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. For most of my teaching career I mostly taught preschool children with special needs. Even while I was a teacher I tried to keep in touch with my artistic side. Now that I am retired from full time teaching, I have been devoting more time to my drawing and painting. Also I give private art lessons. For most of my adult life I have lived in the southwest. I love sharing God's beauty with others through art.
