Vibrant yellows and greens of Spring contrast with the soaring red rock formations in Sedona, Arizona. These iconic shapes have been the backdrop for over 50 western movies. Today the city is home to numerous artists, galleries, resorts and shops full of tourists. Hiking trails that wind around these red rocks are abundant.
I started my career with a Bachelor's Degree in in Art Education. However, l later earned my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. For most of my teaching career I mostly taught preschool children with special needs. Even while I was a teacher I tried to keep in touch with my artistic side. Now that I am retired from full time teaching, I have been devoting more time to my drawing and painting. Also I give private art lessons. For most of my adult life I have lived in the southwest. I love sharing God's beauty with others through art.
